Monday Made It #1:
This morning, I received a great care package from the blogger exchange from Covered in Glitter and Glue, (more on that during their link up next week). One item in particular caught my eye and I knew immediately what I wanted to do with it!
The teacher who retired and I am taking over for, decked out her desk with duct tape. Cute, but pink is not a color I'm focusing on too much in my classroom this year.
Thanks to some lime green, gray, and black duct tape from my blogging buddy, my desk is looking good!
Monday Made It #2:
After way too long, my bulletin boards are finally hung! (Nothing educational on them yet, but they went from drab to fab). As seen in this sneak peek! Tara, has been a big inspiration in making my classroom more colorful this year :)
Every bulletin board has a unifying design: the black border. It's called "Lots of Dots" and after hours of bonding with it, it grew on me, so much so it inspired some papers.
One pack is more rainbow colored the other with a little more colorful options. Each are a dollar in my TPT store. You can also pin to win just leave the url of each picture from here or my TPT store in the comments. I'll announce the 2 winners tomorrow!
Speaking of tomorrow... something big is coming to my blog, and these little owls are going to help me out. (Thank you to Amanda's niece for the inspiration on these little owls).
Be sure to stop back by tomorrow to see what all is going on!
I love the bulletin board borders! Super cute. My bulletin boards haven't been installed yet- but I'll definitely be using this for inspiration. The paper packs are cute as well! I wish I knew how to do that!! :) Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteOk, how stinkin adorable are those owls?? You did a great job recreating them!!! :) :)

I don't if I ever told you, but I lived in Salina for awhile in the 70's, and my 3rd grade teacher was from Abiliene. I wish I could remember her name.
Beautiful paper! I love the Lots of Dots Lots of Colors!
