I'll be the first to admit that I'm ever so slightly addicted to
Pinterest. {Maybe more than slightly} So accidentally finding one of my posts pinned on
Pinterest by someone I don't even know. Kind of cool! Especially to someone who enjoys that site as much as I do. I've found so many great ideas and have been inspired by so many on Pinterest, that I find it humbling that someone else would want to pin me.

Ahhh! I've been pinned! |
With the fun/happiness this discovery has made, I like to share a little something with you!
In the coming weeks, we are moving from novel studies to reading skills practice. One facet of reading that we will be reviewing are the 5 prefixes and suffixes that 5th graders in Kansas need to know. I created a foldable for note taking for the students and I thought I'd share it with you too. Click on the picture below to be taken to my Teacher's Pay Teacher's store to download for free!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend... happy pinning :)

I just joined pinterest, so I know what you mean! I'm really trying hard not to get as addicted to it as I am to TPT!

I know exactly what you mean! I definitely did a happy dance when that first happened to me :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Pintrest - I often joke that I'm going to get carple tunnel from over-pinning :) I find TONS of great resources and ideas from it.
Happy Pinning!

I can completely identify with the carpel tunnel :) Now, if only I had all of the time, money, and resources to accomplish all the things I've pinned, I'll be great! :)
DeleteI have seen your pin on Pinterest a couple times. And (since I saw the original blog post) I go back to look at the post every time I see the pin. The website you shared has a lot of good resources, but I'm still not really sure how to implement them. Do you just use them to supplement plans you already have? I don't understand how it's a 9 week intervention, but there are 9 skills, with 3 weeks of material each. I'd love to hear more about how you use it in your classroom:)
ReplyDeleteWe are ALL Special!
I think whomever described the link was a little mistaken. They should have described it as 9 skills and up to 27 weeks of material. A little misleading.
DeleteI'm using a little bit of a hodge-podge. I'm using the West Virgina more as a supplement at the moment. With my MTSS group it wasn't quite challenging enough. So I've had to tweak :)
