March Currently!

I seriously cannot believe how fast this year has flown. It's crazy! February has come and gone which means that it's time for Farley's Currently! I've come to love this linky, last month I met so many great bloggers, several of whom I now consider friends, that I'm even more excited for this months edition. So with further adieu here is my currently!

Listening: To Duck Dynasty! Finally catching up on this week's episodes!

Loving: That conferences are OVER! This week has been soooo long.

Thinking: Spring break can't get here soon enough!

Wanting: A house of our own. Our little rental is okay for now, but I'm in the mood for some DIY, painting, making a home our own for real. We've been on the lookout, but "the one" hasn't come around just yet. I'm hoping something will this spring when the market picks up a bit more.

Needing: My observation results. I thought I'd hear back today on Wednesday's observation, but my supervisor wants to meet first thing Monday morning. I sure hope it's good, or that could make for quite the way to start a Monday!

Like/Love/Hate:

I like candy---especially chocolate
I love country music. Several other genres are great too, but country is tops here.
I hate cancer. One of my student's baby brother has cancer and it's effecting his sight. Prayers for his upcoming surgeries is appreciated!

Be sure to join in the fun and link up too!

    1. A great show on A&E! Follows a family who has made it big with their duck call business. Little on the "redneck" side, but it's hilarious, and has a good family aspect to it, especially at the end of the end of every show, you should check it out!

  5. I agree with almost everything you said! It's funny how you can read someone else's Currently and think, oh, I should have said that!

    1. What a small world! I graduated from K-State, but my new home isn't too far from your old stomping grounds; I now reside in Abilene! :)

  9. I'm so glad conferences are over too! It was such a huge week getting through all 27 of them!

I've read Duck Dynasty on more than one currently - I wonder if it will make it to Australia?

  11. Hi Christy!

I hear ya about wanting a house - we're in a TINY apartment and I am SO ready to move into a house of our own! At first our apartment felt cozy - now it's just downright small :)

My hubby is graduating with his Masters in May, so hopefully this summer we'll know where we're going to be and able to start the adventure of house shopping!

    Happy weekend!

  12. Hi Christy! Ok, I took your advice and tried to stop being a "No-Reply" blogger. Will you let me know if I did it correct? I don't know how to tell who I can reply to via email vs. those I can't ?!?

  14. ooO Christy, I absolutely, unequivocally, couldn't describe my love for choclate too! My favourite snack, but when I start, I can't stop sometimes! =O

A house of your own means more renovations, more work, more everything, but I wouldn't change it for the world! :)

Wishing I was nearing spring break like you all are! We're only 6 weeks into a new school year here! :)

  15. So glad I saw your currently before I finished mine. I stole your color font idea! :)

I'm totally with you on the house thing, well I was last year, we just bought ours in August. We rented for a year which was also really nice because you don't have to worry about anything, but it's nice to do stuff with a house too! You could always DIY some furniture now!

  16. Waiting for observation results always feels like the longest wait...well...right behind waiting for something that's in the microwave (THOSE are the longest minutes!). Found you through the currently! I'm your newest follower. Please feel free to stop by if you get a chance!
