Let's Get Acquainted!

Nothing like arriving a little on the fashionably late side to a party... I saw everyone joining this fun linky-party from Flying into First Grade and I wanted to join in all of fun!

 

This week's topic is to share three things I like or do using my initials... here goes nothing!

C- Country livin'. I love wide open spaces, I'm originally from a very small town (populations under 200). My husband and I currently rent a house in a town of about 6,500. It's a cute town, but.. not exactly wide open spaces. We are currently looking to buy a home in the country and there are couple of potential places. Fingers crossed one of them works out!

R- Reading- I love to read and share my love of reading with my students. I try to stock my classroom with books of varying levels, genres, topics... I may have a slight addiction to buying books to share with my kiddos.  I've always loved to read, but with my current grad class load, I only have time to read textbooks. I cannot wait for summer when I read for fun again!

W- Water-- While I do like to drink water... I'm thinking water in the sense of a swimming pool, jet skiing, water tubing. So many great memories tied to water holes in my life; fishing and canoeing, camping trips, lifeguarding, just thinking about it all makes me that much more ready for summer!

In other news.. I'm getting pretty close to the century mark. I'm hoping I come close to it around the same time as my new blog design debuts, so I can celebrate both together with a giveaway, and some exciting news about next year that was just made official today. Exciting times! :)
