Today is a day to celebrate not only mothers, but all of the magnificent women out there who touch so many lives; this post is for you.
To the mother's who hold the little ones in their arms. Who watch their little children grow, care for them, listen to them, love them. Thank you for all you do. I hope to be blessed as you have been some day.
To the mothers who sacrificed and gave their child to someone else to care for. You, like my birth mother, have given the most selfless gift. You put your child's welfare above your own. Thank you for a chance, the opportunities, and the gift of life you gave to someone else.
To the mothers out there who have had to say goodbye to your child way too soon, before or after birth, this day is for you too. The pain is great, there are no words, just know you are not alone. You are worth so much and loved.
To the "mothers" who take care of rooms full of kids throughout the day. Throughout the school day, those kids become more than just students, they become "your kids." You work tirelessly to help them succeed, listen, care. Thank you for all of your time and effort.
To all the ladies who are aunts, grandmothers, mentors, and friends. Thank you for your time and effort with the children in your lives. They look up to you and respect you. Thank you for all that you do.
Happy Mother's Day!
